Explore Your Hidden Kingdom with Gut Feeling

All disease begins in the gut.” — Hippocrates

At Gut Feeling, we believe that understanding your gut is the gateway to true health and emotional wellbeing. As Australia’s first specialty practice dedicated to the Gut–Brain connection, we combine medical precision with psychological insight to uncover the powerful role your digestive system plays in mental and physical wellness.

Our Philosophy

The gut and brain are in constant communication, influencing mood, cognition, and even immune function. At Gut Feeling, we take an integrated, evidence-based approach to health by examining this connection through both biological and psychological lenses.

Our care model unites medical diagnostics, microbiome science, and clinical psychology to provide patients with a complete understanding of how the mind and body interact.

Who We Help

Gut Feeling supports individuals across all life stages — children, teens, adults, mums and bubs, and seniors.
Our approach recognizes that the gut’s influence extends throughout development, shaping mood, hormones, energy, and resilience at every age.

A Personal Journey of Discovery

Dr. Thomas’s commitment to the Gut–Brain field is deeply personal. When her daughter was diagnosed with anxiety and coeliac disease, she witnessed firsthand how the gut and mind profoundly shape one another. This experience deepened her professional mission to bring insight, empathy, and scientific clarity to families navigating similar challenges.
